Gifts from Grandma

A special package arrived from Oklahoma the other day! Grandma sent some new summer clothes with a pair of sunglasses and hat too! I can't wait for the weather to get warm enough to wear them. Thanks Grandma!!!!

9 Months

Only 3 more months until my little man turns 1....I can't believe it!! Keaton is quite the ham, making us laugh all.day.long. So far, this has been my favorite phase. He is so darn happy with his 4 toofer smile and funny sounds that it just makes life so enjoyable. You can't help but smile when you see him, even on your worst day.

Milestones

- Sitting up completely unassisted

- Crawling all over the place

- Starting to grab furniture to pull himself up

- Pincher grasp is going real well

- Pushes buttons on toys with his pointer finger

- Got a total of 4 teeth (bottom 2 and top front 2)

Likes

- Blowing raspberries

- Applesauce

- Any type of juice

- Swings at the park

- Puffs (cherry, banana, and cinnamon maple)

- Cheerios

- Watching the dog (makes him laugh)

- Getting his picture taken

- Hanging out at Mimi and Grandpa's on Thursday evenings

Dislikes

- Loud noises

- Parmesan pasta dinner

- Sitting still for longer than 2 seconds

- Getting off his schedule (boy, he will really let you know if you get off his daily routine)

Trips to the park

We took Keaton to the park for the first time this week. I took him by myself one day and then daddy came along the next day. I love how Keaton just "chilled" in the swing and enjoyed the lovely weather. We will be taking him to the park a lot this spring/summer.

The Coolest Playroom on the Block!

The rocket tent is up!!!! It is so cool and I can't wait for Keaton to get old enough to play in it. I still have a few things I want to do in this room yet. I want to put glow-in-the-dark stars on the ceiling and make the planets out of styrofoam to hang from the ceiling as well. I'm happy with how it is turning out.
